Encrypted where it matters
Health data, emergency information, vaccination details and contact data of third parties are encrypted at rest. Files are served only through ownership-checked requests — there are no permanent public file links.

Your data stays yours
Every document is scoped to your account. Strict per-user separation is enforced on every query and covered by automated tests.

Account protection
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, optional two-factor login by email code, email verification, and a password reset that signs out all sessions.

Sharing under your control
Share links are token-based, time-limited and revocable at any time. View-only by default, downloads only if you allow them — and every access is logged.

A visible audit trail
Sign-ins, downloads, shares and exports are recorded with time and IP — never with document contents. You can review your recent security activity in Settings.

AI with an off switch
AI features are optional. Switched off, no document leaves the system and LifeFolder uses local suggestions only. AI requests are never used to train models.
