1. What LifeFolder is

LifeFolder is a personal document organizer with optional AI assistance. It helps you store, organize and prepare documents. It does not provide legal, medical, tax or financial advice — AI suggestions, checklists and reminders are organizational aids, not professional counsel. Always verify important matters with a qualified professional or authority.

2. Beta status

LifeFolder is currently in beta. Features may change, and despite encryption, backups and care, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Keep originals of critical documents — LifeFolder organizes copies, it does not replace official originals.

3. Your account and content

You are responsible for your login credentials and for only uploading content you are allowed to store and process. Your documents remain yours; we receive only the rights technically necessary to operate the service for you. You can export your data and delete your account at any time in Settings.

4. Sharing

Share links you create are your responsibility — choose recipients, permissions, expiry and optional passwords carefully. Every access to a share link is logged for you.

5. Plans and payments

Free and paid plans are described on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel anytime; your documents stay accessible on the free plan within its limits.

6. Fair use and termination

No abusive, unlawful or third-party-infringing use. We may suspend accounts that endanger the service or other users. You may terminate at any time by deleting your account.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damages from the breach of essential contractual duties. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
